Lavender Eye Pillow {Review}

Lavender Eye Pillow {Review}

Over the last few months, my family has been trying to incorporate more “natural” ways of treating day to day problems such as colds, being tired, etc. Up until now, we’ve been trying different oils as well as natural supplements. But I had the chance to try a lavender eye pillow as a review, and here are my thoughts on it.

  • Each pillow features SUPER SOFT, Natural Fabrics (100% Organic Cotton Available) filled with Organic Flax Seed & Pure and Natural Aromatherapy Herbs to Relieve Tension and Stress.
  • Let the muscles in your face take a brief vacation while you enjoy some cool relief.
  • Enjoy the perfect amount of light acupressure as the flax seed filling gives you a mini massage around your eyes and you fall into a deep state of complete relaxation.
  • Reduce Swelling and Relieve Headache Pain by Popping Your Eye Pillow In The Freezer. We suggest purchasing a few of them so you can have a steady stock of ready to use eye pillows. It feels absolutely sublime chilled!

I’ve been having trouble sleeping. Well, let me back up. I’ve been having trouble feeling tired enough that I’m ready to go to bed.

I’ve tried not watching TV or having my phone out an hour before bed. I’ve curled up with a book. I’ve laid in the dark…for hours.

The only thing that did the trick was taking a pill, even natural  plant based ones, to force me going to sleep. Once I get to sleep, I’m usually fine. But we’re talking less than 4 hours a night on average if I was waiting for my body to tell me it was ready.

I like lavender already as a scent, either in the oil diffuser or in a candle. When the opportunity came up to try out an eye pillow, which is a satin rectangle filled with flax seeds and lavender herb, to help me relax and hopefully get some sleep, I gave it a shot.

I liked using the lavender eye pillow. But honestly, I didn’t use it for my eyes! LOL I’m a stomach sleeper so it didn’t really work like that, since there is no strap to keep it in place. But, I would slip it between my neck and the pillow and it worked just fine. Or when I slid it inside the pillow case.

These work great when you pull them out of the freezer. They remain flexible since it’s not liquid, especially on a hot night when you’re trying to cool off and get some sleep.

Plus these come in a ton of colors to choose from too. I went with blue of course.
